From hash browns to breakfast plates, users can save favorite orders, reorder past meals, and customize dishes exactly how they like them for a more personal dining experience.

Seamless Checkout

A clean and intuitive checkout flow allows users to review orders, select payment methods, and complete purchases quickly, reducing wait time and improving convenience.

Real-Time Convenience

Order tracking, location services, and store access help users stay connected to their nearest Waffle House while making the entire dining experience feel faster and more accessible.

Home Screen Experience

The home screen was designed to make ordering feel fast, familiar, and easy. Inspired by the bold and recognizable Waffle House brand, the interface highlights popular menu items, quick category access, and nearby location information so users can move through the app without confusion.

The goal was to create a mobile experience that feels just as simple and welcoming as walking into a Waffle House restaurant, fast decisions, clear navigation, and comfort-driven design.

App Walkthrough

The interactive prototype demonstrates how users move through the Waffle House app from browsing meals to placing an order. It highlights the full customer journey, including onboarding, menu navigation, customization, checkout, and rewards access.

The goal was to create a smooth and realistic mobile experience that feels fast, familiar, and easy to use while staying true to the recognizable Waffle House brand

Brand Application

The app interface was built around the strong visual identity of Waffle House, using its iconic yellow, black, and bold typography to create an experience that feels instantly recognizable. From the waffle-inspired textures to the high-contrast menu layouts, every screen was designed to reflect the energy and familiarity of the brand.

The goal was to translate the in-person restaurant experience into a digital space while keeping the design playful, functional, and easy to navigate for everyday users.

Creative Brief

The project began by identifying common pain points in restaurant ordering, including long wait times, limited customization, and disconnected customer experiences. The objective was to design an app that simplified ordering while maintaining the comfort and familiarity of Waffle House.


Research and Inspiration

I studied restaurant apps, customer behavior, and Waffle House’s existing brand identity to understand what users expect from a fast and reliable ordering experience. This helped shape the layout, navigation, and overall user journey.


Wireframing and User Flow

Initial wireframes focused on building a simple path from browsing the menu to completing checkout. The goal was to reduce unnecessary steps and make navigation feel intuitive for both new and returning users.


Visual Design

The final interface focused on creating a clean and modern mobile experience while keeping navigation simple and familiar. Layout, typography, and imagery were designed to guide users naturally through the app and make ordering feel quick and effortless.


Brand Integration

Waffle House’s bold yellow, black, and recognizable diner-inspired visuals were carried throughout the app to maintain strong brand consistency. The goal was to create a digital experience that felt instantly familiar while still improving usability across every screen.
